Topeka KS to Oklahoma City OK Why do you like working in transportation?
I grew up in a self-employed family, which shaped my work ethic and perspective from an early age. Since 1998, my wife Connie and I have continued that tradition by owning and operating multiple businesses together. Those experiences have given me an understanding of what true customer service looks like. Connie and I are proud parents of two sons. Our oldest, Cole, is 24 and will be getting married in July 2026. Our youngest, Connor, is 20 and a sophomore at Baker University, where he plays baseball as a catcher. Watching our kids grow and pursue their passions has been one of the most rewarding parts of our lives. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, making cocktails, finding speakeasies when traveling and simply relaxing by the pool or taking our RV out on a trip to unwind. In 2007, we moved to Topeka from Liberty Missouri to start a new chapter by opening Plato's Closet. After selling our garbage company and our investment/rental properties, we were ready for a new challenge and opportunity. Topeka has been a wonderful place to raise our family and build lasting relationships. It offers a strong sense of community while still being close enough to larger cities when we're looking for that bigger city experience.
